Claimed as the largest rescue-and-release programme in the world, the foundation has rescued over 1000 big cats in the last 16 years (with a cheetah-to-leopard ratio of 2:1. Some 90% of leopards, 80% of cheetahs have been released into the wild. These rescued cheetah, thee female and one male, are around three and a half years old and are kept in pen of about 6 hectares. They are fed five times a week.

As we landed on the airstrip adjacent to this cheetah rescue pen, we saw several of the cheetah running along the fence just like dogs but without the barking!
